CALL FOR SPEAKERS - 2018 MARKETING COORDINATORS BOOTCAMP

Share your expertise with emerging marketers! 

We are looking for senior-level A/E/C marketers to join us on May 18, 2018 at our Marketing Coordinators half-day Bootcamp to share their marketing expertise and lessons learned. The event is aimed at entry- to mid-level emerging marketers who seek to advance their skill sets and industry knowledge.

TOPICS:

We are looking for one (1) speaker on each of the three (3) topics below.
The direction of each theme and associated content will be left to your discretion.

Some ideas to get you thinking about your speaker pitch are below, but do not feel limited to these.

  • PROPOSALS:  
    Proposal process, successful proposal examples, lessons learned, go-no-go process, firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc…

  • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
    How to run an effective meeting, managing different personalities, having difficult conversations, managing your manager or managing technical staff to get what you need

  • BRAND STRATEGIES:
    How to differentiate your firm in a saturated marketplace, unique brand strategies, design skills, writing techniques, etc...

EVENT FORMAT + DETAILS:

  • We expect 100 people to attend.

  • Your presentation should be 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes for Q&A.

  • You will present your content 3 times to smaller groups of approximately 30 people each.

  • Access to wifi, AV equipment & screens will be provided — just bring your laptop or a USB.

  • This is a voluntary speaking engagement with excellent visibility into the AEC community.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Complete the electronic CALL FOR SPEAKERS APPLICATION by February 21, 2018 DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 27.

Please be prepared to provide the following:

  • Basic contact information.

  • Topic you’d like to present.

  • Short bio detailing qualifications to speak on this topic.

  • Proposed presentation outline + format, basic information about your session & what attendees stand to gain by attending.
